聖路濟亞 （貞女）（殉道）
相傳聖女在第三世紀，生於西西里島斯拉古撒，可能在公元304年，戴克里先迫害教會期間殉道，葬在斯拉古撒。她的紀念日最早記載於聖熱羅尼莫的「殉道錄」中。六世紀時，羅馬教會已有她的敬禮。

上主，願殉道者貞女路濟亞的轉求，更新我們的心；求你使我們現世慶祝她天上的誕辰，將來也能與她共享永生。因你的聖子、我們的主耶穌基督，他和你及聖神，是唯一天主，永生永王。亞孟。
Saint Lucy, Virgin and Martyr
St. Lucy (d. 304) died in Syracuse, Sicily, under the persecution of Diocletian. She has been venerated by the Church from antiquity, and her name is mentioned in the Roman Canon (Eucharistic Prayer I).
Collect
May the glorious intercession of the Virgin and Martyr Saint Lucy give us new heart, we pray, O Lord, so that we may celebrate her heavenly birthday in this present age and so behold things eternal. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
