聖猶達宗徒
聖猶達又名達陡，是十二宗徒之一（路6:16；宗1:13；若14:22；瑪10:3；谷3:18）。相傳他是次雅各伯的兄弟，及聖經中《猶達書》的作者。聖猶達曾在晚餐時，問主耶穌：「主，究竟為了什麼，你要將你自己顯示給我們，而不顯示給世界呢？」（若14:22）相傳他和西滿一起，在波斯一帶傳教，並殉道。
集禱經
天主，你藉著聖宗徒的教導，使我們認識你的聖名；求你因聖西滿和聖猶達的代禱，恩賜你的教會，不斷發揚光大，信仰你的子民，日益增加。因你的聖子、我們的主耶穌基督，他和你及聖神，是唯一天主，永生永王。亞孟。
Saint Jude, Apostle
St. Jude (Thaddeus) is the author of a short Epistle. According to tradition they preached as far as Mesopotamia and Persia where they were martyred. His name appears in the Roman Canon (Eucharistic Prayer I).
Collect
O God, who by the blessed Apostles
have brought us to acknowledge your name,
graciously grant,
through the intercession of Saints Simon and Jude,
that the Church may constantly grow
by increase of the peoples who believe in you.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
